The Problem Shomaa Designs Addressing

Climate Change

Climate Change

Climate change is one of the most pressing issues facing our planet today. There is a clear scientific consensus that climate change is real and that it is caused by human activity.

Context

Context

Inorganic lifestyle products especially plastic have significant impact on climate change, as they require a lot of energy to produce and transport. The production of these products releases greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

Problem statement

Problem statement

Once inorganic lifestyle products are in use, they can also contribute to climate change. In addition, it can end up in landfills. For example, plastic products can take hundreds of years to decompose, and they can release methane, a greenhouse gas, as they decompose.

Decentralisation

‘Climate Change’ is real thing and is being driven by conventional fuel based Capitalist economies, that is speeding towards catastrophe. This miss-managed supply chain system which is also promoting other socio-commercial evils like ‘hoarding’ and ‘artificial preservation’ are definitely the one of the leading factors to climate depletion and unnecessary inflation. We at (shomaadesigns/carbonarth) have been working towards decentralisation of such supply chain systems. Our collaboration with local Bamboo farmer’s community is one of our finest examples to mitigate climate change.

Circular Economy - Our Responsibility

Linear Economy , Recycling Economy , Circular Economy

Introducing the most sustainable alternative to plastic, moving towards the future of consumption with zero waste technology. Encouraging communities and businesses for responsible consumption by focusing on three factors; Reduce, Reuse & Recycle.

Experts say recycling alone will not save us. “Circular economy is a ‘bigger idea’ – a significant restructuring that forces us to rethink how we have done things since the rise of the ‘First Industrial Revolution’. To better understand the Circular economy, we can compare it to our current Industrial economy, which is dominated by linear processes.

Small and medium-sized enterprises form the backbone of the nation, so while large corporations have already embarked on their ESG journey towards a circular economy, small companies will need support in managing their supply – this is where Shomaa Designs come in. Shomaa Designs is an excellent resource for businesses that are looking to make a positive impact on the environment. Our products and services can help businesses to reduce their environmental impact and improve their social responsibility. Here in ‘Shomaa Designs’ a circular economy our responsibility.
